Legitimately, unless you're doing datasets and stuff for OLAP, linked data is just a royal pain in the ass

It's good for datasets and analytical stuff because it's so flexible you can describe any fucking mess the humanity has ever even thought of with enough thought and time.

But flexibility to such degree is the exact opposite from what you want for an operating system - you want to simplify everything as much as viable, because that way you have less different paths everything needs to go through, and it becomes way easier to optimize those paths.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... FWIW this opinion sits at the divide between "just quality concerns" and "broader social and economical concerns"

If you only care about quality, holding LLMs to the same standard as regular contributors might make sense (though looking at the examples where LLM-ers say they've been "very careful" I'm not sure that's enough)

If you care about broader social economical concerns surrounding LLMs, then nothing besides a full-on ban makes sense.
