@nprofile1q... In The tiny glimpse of the cat o got just as Serra charged, it was crouched under a tree. But I didn’t see it til Serra charged, so no time to brace or get both hands on leash. Was just ADAMANT my new dog wasn’t getting away. Hence the shoulder damage & hand bruising. I really kinda got lucky i wasn’t hurt worse.

Well now i know what Serra does when she sees a cat:
She takes off like a maniac, pulls me down & dislocates my shoulder, making me go to the emergency rm. -100out o f 10, do not recommend. Upper head of humerus damaged, don’t know yet if surgery will be needed. But i’m ok for now. Went down in front of a lovely hispanic family’s house. They were very very kind & helpful. Husb was home ( thank god) and came quickly.

@nprofile1q... It's got that Bad Corporation In the Background that almost everything has these days 😕(so does The Mountain in the Sea) but that's not in the forefront of the story. If you'd like to, I'd love to hear what you think about it whenever you get a copy and get a chance to read it.
I like most of AT's books, but not all. I liked this one.

I just really enjoyed it. It has an interesting premise (trapped on a lightless world, trying to get back to where they can be rescued, also HEAVY GRAVITY and aliens that they didn't know were there.) A bit of competence porn and good engineering in their traveling vessel.
