A year ago 173 former Canadian diplomats wrote a letter asking Canada to stop giving weapons for the genocide of Palestinians.

"The principles Canada stands for, they warn, “are being abandoned daily with the massive displacement, indiscriminate bombardment and starvation of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the violent attacks by extremist settlers in the West Bank.”

Still hasn't happened. Instead of sending these weapons for Ukraine, Canada is sending them to murder children in Palestinian, Iran, Lebanon...

Why?...The centre for jewish and israel affairs noted PM Mark Carney’s comment in June that there must be “a Zionist, if you will, Palestinian state that recognizes the right of Israel to exist.”

Oxfam: While Canada has stopped issuing permits for new transfers of weapons and components going directly to Israel, a second channel by which these transfers are made is still widely active. (via the US and Poland).
