If Bitcoin becomes widely adopted to the point where it is used for payments almost everywhere, there is a possibility that it may not achieve global penetration due to factors such as financial constraints or lack of education among some individuals.
However, what if Satoshi were to reveal themselves and distribute a significant portion of their Bitcoin holdings to those who are not yet part of the ecosystem? This could be done anonymously, similar to the Satoshi beach initiative but on a much larger scale, given Satoshi's immense wealth.
The question remains: would such a move break Bitcoin or propel it even further?
Everybody has to see and learn the new opportunity that comes with an new technology. The past showed that this takes at first some time… Then things go fast and many don’t think about how it was before…
Cause it seems we are running circles here… Just to break it down, I’am not on the point that it’s definitely sure Bitcoin will fix something… Only time will tell what people are doing with it in the future. I just listening to this podcast which tells exactly this, to be an spectator to see what is happening with it… I’am half way through but it was enough to bring it to our discussion. It brings exactly the point the pros and cons of being for or against Bitcoin or even understate it as a kind of thing to play around with it… Listen to it and tell me what you think:
I didn’t said anything about Bitcoin brings peace to the world. I did the opposite… So read my posts as well… But do think that it is good idea when less people in the world have the power to make the rules for the money for all other people. What do you think were the split between poor and rich is coming from?
I think you still didn’t understand how money works at the moment and how Bitcoin works… But I won’t be the truth teller cause I don’t know the future, just as you…
Didn’t said that it will change the world to a place full of harmony and peace… But just as you said, it just money. But it’s money that could be fair for everyone, but it won’t change humans nature that’s right.
Yes and services… When I was a kid and VHS became a thing, no one could imagine at this point, that in the future you will be able to access any movie at any time at nearly every place in the world. But no one really knows the future, correct…
Yes maybe you are kind of right. But think about that the early internet had the same issue… What I want to say is, time will tell if it stays a toy for “rich kids” or it comes to an more mass adoption, which is definitely there when look back where Bitcoin comes from…
Yeah, some of these people have the financial privilege to have the time to work on projects like Nostr. But in the end the whole world could participate when it gets even more done. But you are right with the point that Bitcoin is sometimes a bit to much present, especially when new people coming into this space..
