There is a recently patched RCE vulnerability in ffmpeg. see https://www.securityweek.com/ffmpeg-pixelsmash-flaw-allows-rce-on-video-players-media-servers-nas-appliances/

This very likely impacts most fediverse software, though I don't know how exploitable it is. Hopefully all the various fedi-software publishes updated container images soon with patched versions.

I am guessing about 90% of recent signup attempts are some sort of bot - probably more because I know some are getting approved and later suspended for bot activity.

I went to see Toy Story 5 with my first wife for her birthday yesterday. It was ok, heavy on the bathroom humor and it become clear kids can’t find true friends with social media nowadays. I am expecting Toy Story 6 to feature good vs bad AI enabled toys.
