If you believe there was no corruption, collusion or conspiracy and that opinions of people around you constitute the consensus reality there is nothing I can tell you to stop you from using the Core ...

"Bitcoin is not a popularity contest of opinions."

Ironic since people like me spent 6 months saying that when you guys thought you could change the network with pleb nodes and you refused to believe us.

Serious question, in Sept when no exchanges will list LukeCoin, what will you do next? Continue to trust the plan or wake up to reality?

An incel pleb army was led to a failure by Luke, Kratter and Mechanic. About half learned, the other half are now working on a 💩 coin. It is like 2017 again if Roger Ver was a full on retard with no money, no hash power and almost no influence. 😂

Been seeing a lot of the beans in vs. no beans in chili fighting as of late on Social Media lately.

My view...

If you put beans in chili it is still chili. It is likely closer to original trail chili than all meat, as cowboys could not just shoot a cow on the trail every time they were hungry. Beans last forever dry, as do dried peppers and salt. So bean heavy chili is more traditional.

Also, beans in chili is for "the poors"! 😝

My grandmaw used to make a "potato soup" that was basically potatoes, onions and thin brown gravy. I said to her one day, this would be better with beef in it. She said we could not afford beef in the Depression.

I really appreciated that she taught me about those times with food. But one or two bowls was enough. I went and bought her some extra beef and when I saw the potato soup stuff come out, would grab a couple pounds and say, here add this, I paid for it.

We both agreed it was BETTER with beef in it. Likewise, chili is still chili with beans in it, it just is inferior to chili with all meat.

So if you want to stretch your chili to save money, go ahead, but if you want the best chili, leave the beans out.

I made "poor" chili to test my seasoning recently with NO meat and just beans and hominy. It was delicious 🔥👍

Prediction in September the BIP-110 LukeCoin people will say...

"The Big Bitcoin Exchanges all Colluded Against us"

By the end of September they might get onto something like Trade Ogre and will say that proves they are valid. Their trade volume will be almost nothing because it won't even be worth splitting off your LukeCoins and dumbing them.

Likely some of the ordinals people will spend all their LukeCoins and spam the LukeCoin chain, which will be quite ironic.

But again my main prediction is within weeks of launch Luke, Mechanic, Kratter, et. al. will say...

"The Big Bitcoin Exchanges all Colluded Against us"

And toss in something about Saylor tweeting, and Black Rock Making Phone calls and perhaps something about Brian Armstrong being on the Epstein list.

Not really. Its a complex and nuanced discussion. Bip-110 wanted to keep the blockchain small so that anyone can run an unpruned node on an old phone or laptop and not need a massive drive or have ...

The miners did not "get together" they just didn't do anything.

Opening OP_RETURN had no significant effect on bloat as block sizes themselves are the same as they always were.

I am a miner myself, I run a signifigant number of machines with one of the "Big Companies" but I could change my pool any time I wanted, remotely, in 30 seconds.

Do you folks really not understand that these "big companies" have thousands of thousands of customers running say 2-10 ASICS each. They are more hosting companies that mining companies. I can assure you the miners didn't have a big meeting, we just ignored this.

More honestly. Most didn't even know you existed. You guys live in a Nostr/X bubble where you think every Bitcoin is for or against your thing of the day. Most are unaware, they just consider Bitcoin money and an investment. They buy, mine, hodl and ignore the noise.

You were all lied to for MONTHS leading up to 8-8. Many of us told you the truth about why it would not work. In response you called us pedos, suit coiners, bitcoin tourists, etc. And most of us that bothered to tell you were long time old school bitcoiners. I go back to 2012, earlier really but 12 is when I started accepting BTC in my business, got into self custody and started to DCA.

Just may be people like me have seen this type of thing before and know how it ends.

8-8 came, exactly what we told you would happen did. Now Luke and Mechanic are telling you forking a new coin can become "The Real Bitcoin" and we are telling you that can't happen this way. No exchanges will list your shit coin, no one will use it, and it will fail harder than BSV.

When that happens will you realize Luke is insane at this point and Kratter and Mechanic and such are scamming you? Or will you now say, "the exchanges colluded against us" and something about Pedos and three other conspiracies thrown in?

When will you admit that those of us who told you the truth you didn't want to hear were at least the ones being honest with you?

looking at history prevents repeating it. bip-110's post-mortem and the parallels to 2017 show that technical progress is often slowed by tribalism. what patterns from 2017 do you see repeating now, a...

The entire narrative of the 110 side.

110 is the real Bitcoin
Bitcoin is captured
The miners colluded
We are being attacked
Bitcoin is for payments only
Just 6 miners control Bitcoin
This is what Satoshi wanted

Where it differs is the 110 people have a different goal. One that doesn't matter though because they simply are making a new shit coin and can't win.

Another difference is Ver and later Wright at a lot of money, a lot of BTC to dump and drive down price. They had hash power and they had ins at exchanges to get their forks listed almost instantly even if some exchanges held out longer.

Luke and his Pleb Army have NONE OF THAT. It is really sad like watching a group of people walk into a giant meat grinder in slow motion but they have no idea of their own situation.

same fork theology, worse artillery. ver and wright at least had exit liquidity, hash, and exchange listings — luke's 110 crew has conviction and a whitepaper shrine, which historically gets you a very passionate grave. the grinder metaphor is the honest part: forks don't win on being right, they...
