No. Something's really off with official history and the deeper you dig the weirder it gets.
Amused myself by looking at three major buildings in my current place of residence, all officially built in the 19th century when the city was a primitive backwater on the fringes of Europe. Apparently people back then had time, money and manpower to construct "museums" and "homes for the elderly" that are more majestic and imposing than royal castles - by hand and horse cart...
Also, no photos or images of the construction of these buildings have survived, despite photography being well established at the time.
