They were absolutely spot on!

@nprofile1q... Destructive digitization is standard practice for large-scale scanning of books/materials that are not rare or archival in nature. To the extent that the matierials that Anthropic had scanned meet that critieria, that the books were destroyed in the scanning process is an acceptable practice.
