Well, if the measure of value (money) were not corrupted by the creation of new units, which causes each unit to permanently lose purchasing power, it would be possible to work for a few years, save in this honest money and live the rest of one’s life off those savings. The need for social programs administered by elites or the state arises from the very theft these entities commit by manipulating the scale used to measure value (money).
