I want more privacy focused SW tools. So I have decided to learn code to make some. We will see if an old dog can learn new tricks. #beungovernable

The reason I do not own a TV for the last 18 yrs.

A while back, I did some research into Marketing. And to understand the tactics I read some books.

Three books in particular changed my entire outlook not only when observing advertisements, but also social media trends and the old-school media constructed narratives.

The Grievance studies affairs was also an eye opener. It reminded me of the gasoline lead scandals.

Concepts of social engineering go beyond marketing. It is used daily to form artificial consent. I guess Operation Mocking Bird is used in more then one way.

To understand why a brand is popular or why it sounds like a forest full of mocking birds, its good to understand the underlying structures and behaviors that can produce the conditions needed.

Using Bots in a digital age, is bringing these concepts together on steroids.

Things fall into perspective when you look under the hood.

Source is twitter from account GrapheneOS:

Wired was manipulated into spreading misinformation to market Palantir and iVerify by misrepresenting a vulnerability in a disabled demo app as being a serious problem which could be exploited in the real world. They should retract the article but won't.
https://www.wired.com/story/google-android-pixel-showcase-vulnerability/

"iVerify vice president of research [...] points out that while Showcase represents a concerning exposure for Pixel devices, it is turned off by default. This means that an attacker would first need to turn the application on in a target's device before being able to exploit it."

"The most straightforward way to do this would involve having physical access to a victim's phone as well as their system password or another exploitable vulnerability that would allow them to make changes to settings. Google's Fernandez emphasized this limiting factor as well."

How did socialists get such a stranglehold over so many corporations, which are ostensibly focused on making a profit?
James Lindesey from new Discourses explains.

Hint: ESG

I wonder how the new Gulags will look like? I fear I might find out sooner then later because I can not hold my tongue in the face of tyranny.

Oh wow, has anyone heard anything on this front?

From Simply Bitcoin on Twitter/X:
A major cyberattack has disrupted Iran's central bank and its entire banking system.

Only other source also from Twitter from Iran International English

Interessting.
I have done zero research into this though. But seems to be worth a look into it. I also have zero insight to the publication site. No idea how trust worthy they are:

This federal agency entity is now more commonly referred to as the “CIGIE” (pronounced as “sig-ee”) by federal employees, but to the power brokers of the United States of America, it remains, and is still referred to, as “The Council.”

I really like the Nostr Protocol. What I do not appreciate is that I cannot control my Data, even if I own it. And I get the why and how. But sometimes I write so fast and oops pressed the publish button just to read it and think: not just my spelling but the grammer is uuugghh. As a person with issues with hearing, and multi language this can really happen alot

i agree. i make mistakes typing often when im multitasking and going too fast. i've learned to embrace them and sometimes i also delete them. it depends on the mistake that has been made.
