Thanks for this thread. I'm particularly interested in your examples of why AI it is not a useful technical term (and we should be referring to specific tools instead) especially within the context of critiques of AI as a marketing term (and the broader interest in making more intentional, informed, and values-aligned decisions about which tools are appropriate for what uses).

I'm collecting resources on this topic (for folk not on Mastodon). Anything you'd recommend?
