I listened to some AI generated music lately. There’s plenty of it on YouTube. -Vocals sounded fine. Similar to any auto-tuned singer. A rehash of a rehash. -Lyrics had some individually poetic li...

Do you remember buying a tape or cd, and being excited to see all the song lyrics written inside? Looking back, I’m sure some of those songs didn’t make a ton of sense- but some did. And knowing your fans would get that new album and listen all the way through and look at the lyric sheet must have meant something. I don’t think I would know more than two consecutive lines of any song in the past 10 years. But I could go line by line on songs from the 90s that never even got on the radio…

Hmm. Odd. She's using Alby. I was able to zap her from my normal wallet. So, Alby isn't down. I would assume Primal/ Strike has no issues with Alby since they're a large provider. Maybe one of them ha...

Thanks. I’ll try again later. Maybe I’ll try from a different device, or a different client. I thought I saw “WoS” in her video (which I’m taking is wallet of Satoshi) and thought that might be related? I’m in the US and assuming she’s in Mexico.

Love it. 🔥🔥🔥 Seeing how easy it is to turn zaps into goods and services IRL is game changing and showcases how value for value can have real world impact.

Hi Derek, I’m trying to zap Carla for her post- but I’m getting a warning (primal app on iOS) saying the receipt wallet service returned an error- invalid zap request. I’m able to zap others, and clearly Carla is receiving zaps. Any ideas on something to try here? Appreciate any insights.

do we need more education around bitcoin forks, consensus, the role of nodes, etc.? Bitcoin education has gotten so much better but maybe we’re a bit underinvested in education around how the netw...

Since you asked… I absolutely want bitcoin to succeed long term. I understand the case for software maintenance over time. I’d say my concern is that while we technically can read the code of open source projects or proposed changes, most of our community (myself included) aren’t savvy enough to do that- or do that well. We will fall back to other people’s assessments or summaries, which may or may not be accurate. The “experts” might be in conflict. We might have our trusted voices whose opinion we hold high, but there’s risk there too. I appreciate the ones who are full time in this space- but a lot of us aren’t even if we run nodes, etc. At the end of the day- none us want to break this with a self inflicted wound by a malicious actor who broke the trust.
