Florida Teen Charged as Adult in Stepsister’s Murder on Carnival Cruise A 16-year-old from Titusville, Florida, is being charged as an adult in the sexual abuse and murder of his stepsister aboard a Carnival cruise ship last year, federal prosecutors said Monday. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida said the teen, identified as T.H., faces charges of first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse. Authorities say Anna Kepner was found dead, asphyxiated, on Nov. 7 under a bed inside a shared cabin on the Carnival Horizon while the ship was returning to Miami. Prosecutors allege the attack occurred in international waters before the vessel reached PortMiami, and the teen now faces a potential life sentence.
