While the RAM usage is high, could you check Vivaldi's Task Manager (Vivaldi menu > Tools > Task Manager) to see which process(es) use the most memory.

Today we launched Tabs As A Service ...but only on LinkedIn 😄
Why? Because it's April 1st and this was the dumbest new vertical we could think of.
We would never charge nor judge you for any number of tabs you have open or how many tab management features you use.
To any PE or VC fund feeling like this was supposed to be your golden ticket to ascend into tech-heaven. Sorry, not sorry.
To you who thought it seemed fair to charge for TaaS, get it for free by clicking the link in the comments.

I believe a fix for this bug was released in a recent minor update to Vivaldi 7.9. If you haven't already, please update your browser.

There might be more to it, but AFAIK, this behavior is inherited from Chromium and might not be easy to fix, so better to wait until Chromium fixes it.

While you can't change the default action when opening links, you can customize the menu and move the command out of the submenu.
Because the multitude of ways web devs have implemented content display and pages on their website, the feature will unfortunately not work on all websites.

Honestly, it's unlikely. The background was added to the image credits to improve the text's visibility. Depending on the color scheme of the image, the credits will be more noticeable on some days and less on others.
