Will have a hoop or conestoga style roof once finished.

Made the 1st wall wider to use electric packer but must faster hand packing narrow walls with less material, for this part.

Hibiscus or Roselle is the red flower that's acting more like a perrinial than annual having been harvested around Christmas. Makes a great hot or cold tea known as Jaimaica.

Also in the pic growing, agave, aloe vera, nopal cactus, purslane, loofah and camomile.

Deer horns make for great protectors against birds.

One man's waste is another's mulch. Good timing with rain, always better to layout cardboard when wet n torn. The corrugated shapes are great for bacteria and worms to add to the biome.

Wow. Nice soaking rain most of the night. Great start for the year. Big deal considering had no rain in 2024. Not sure if it will be enough to really green up the place but it sure helps the soil biome and all the starts I have going.

Going to harvest a few more loofah today so they don't mold. So far as couple good ones but the smaller or slightly moldy ones still have plenty of seeds.
