Good morning BitBees. Normally I’d be talking about coffee and a solid night of sleep, but last night I barely slept at all. Funny how the devices I bought for peace of mind ended up being the reason my mind wouldn’t rest. Hoping today feels a little lighter than the last few weeks.

I thought gumbo was called okra stew back in the day… I do not eat seafood of any kind, so don’t be putting okra in anything but a cast iron skillet with cornmeal batter. Wait a minute. I love olive oil/grilled okra, too.

I have no idea. All I know is, I grew up in Louisiana and never had okra in my gumbo until I was an adult. I saw a recipe that included it. I like okra, so I tried it... It was awful and I will never put okra in my gumbo again. Hahaha my husband's grandfather taught me how to make it the proper way ...
