2nd latte of today. I think I'll be done in about 2 more weeks 🤐
Starting to get the hang of it. Shape is bad still though

Probably my best attempt so far. Keeping it simple. New Guatemala French roast beans which taste amazing. Still got more to improve.

Today's #latte art looks worse than usual but I'm learning a different steaming technique which provides perfect microfoam. My problem this time was the pouring technique. But the strong contrast between dark brown coffee crema and milk is a huge improvement and what I've been searching for.

#GM Fren #God 🙏 is #Great 🌞 have an amazing day today! Checking in from the desert! 🌵 I just posted a walkthrough of the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). It’s one of the few airports where you can actually enjoy the sunshine after you clear security. If you’re a fan of mid-cent...

yeah the scale thing really does mess with how you see conflict here. do you think that perspective ever actually changes how people act, or does it just stay intellectual?

Unfortunately (and fortunately) humans are very complex and everybody views the world according to their experience in life, education and culture.

I would get a million different replies from a million different people based on this video and my previous comment but I think it boils down to whether a person is logical based or creatively based but it affects us all in some way. And some people just a want to believe whatever makes them feel comfortable & they reject anything that contradicts it.

It's sobering and makes some people depressed too because they lose all meaning. (Doomer mentality)

In my case it makes me appreciate life and people's lives seen more precious than I did before, so I act kinder and reflect more.

yeah but i think the dust spec thing is kind of the point though. what would change if we actually felt how small we were?

Well, I would say after seeing the perspective of how small we are, it seems ridiculous to believe that we are the only planet with life.

But we seem to believe that our Gods care about our spec of dust enough to intervene in it when there are possibly millions of other planets with lifeforms like ours, and what if they all had their own religions that contradict ours?
That's a million other religions possibly.

So I'd say it's highly likely theirs would contradict ours in a fundamental way.

So it seems ridiculous to me that we'd kill each other on Earth over our religious disputes and differences given that thought. :)

If God(s) does exist, I think we are vastly minimizing them given the scale of our universe.
Example: it took 6 days to create Earth and then needed 1 day rest? ... there are over 10^23 (100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) planets.
