One thing I wonder though, what exactly do you feel had a nice closure, what about the new alien race just randomly brought in in the last chapter, random back history to them that has no real implication for the rest of the story, it's a deus ex machina, just slap some random shit on the wall and call the story finished, which irks me even more since I really enjoyed the whole series up until then :)

Funny how everyone is doing that, while I have gone full on abandoning stuff when it doesn't spark joy mode :p Also playing 5 things at once because chaos monkey mode :p Went in to a search for novelty want to buy something loop on this weekend though, thinking, time to buy new switch game, looking through dekudeals, seeing that there is nothing I want, repeat 2 hours later, for two whole days. I guess my brain just wanted some kind of novelty, ended up going through my rom list, finding dragon quest monters, finding out why I kind of dropped it the last time, and went to siralim, then following the same road as last year :p Brains are weird.

@nprofile1q... Looks cool yeah, I don't know why but I kind of feel too self conscious to track gaming more than writing a summary of it on my blog every week :p I'm way too bad at games to spend as much time as I do on them :p

@nprofile1q... A bit annoying that you have to go to a second device and both having net to do it, but well, I guess it's how it is, and you're probably having it open anyway since you're typing into backloggd

@nprofile1q... It's kind of amazing in general how great the 3DS OS is and how anemic and lackluster the switch ones are, the 3DS had whimsical sounds, a nice working interface, full theming capabilities, which could do a lot of fun stuff, and then you have the switch one..

Dragon Quest XI I played on the 3ds, but the version I had was japanese only, it had the whole pixel thing in it, but the fidelity of the graphics was a bit lower, really fun game to play in japanese though :)
