Apple's Developer app hasn't just got a Liquid Glass update, it has been ported from Catalyst-based to AppKit-based (it is a SwiftUI app in either case). Expect a whole new set of idiosyncrasies along with whatever new improvements/bugs it introduces.

(You can now fullscreen videos properly, for example)

I maintain building SwiftUI instead of working on a true AppKit/UIKit replacement was a generational mistake — 7 years later we're back where we started, unable to trust SwiftUI to build a platform around, still in need of a modern, more-powerful and dependable UI framework that spans all the way down, and up, Apple's product line. SwiftUI, outside of watchOS, gained us absolutely nothing of value, and has eroded a lot of the software quality we once took for granted

Looks like the CloudKit sync issue in *OS 26.4 is real (I can repro with all of my apps), and has the very distinct potential to lead to catastrophic data loss and/or sync conflicts across effectively all apps. Apps only receive changes from the cloud after being quit and relaunched.

If Apple hasn't pulled 26.4 already, it should do so immediately until there's a fixed build

macOS 26.4 has a bunch of fixes to the Liquid Glass things people have been complaining about, including the search field in Settings 🙌

Here's one for the icons-in-menus haters on macOS Tahoe:

I'm pretty convinced now that in the near future you'll be able to deploy an entire 'company in a box' of AI agents, with the equivalent to domain experts in programming, design, sound design and music, marketing, and more, that will feasibly compete with the average startup. The OpenClaw cultists^Wfans will tell you they're already doing this, today, on Mac minis. If you think this is hyperbole or kool-aid pyramid-scheme nonsense, I suspect you're not even remotely prepared for what's to come
