Here we look at the function f(x,y)=(x-(x|y))%23.

So for example for the purle orange one the rule only depends on the stitch in front of me and the one after. It says what goes in the stitch.

So in an orange stitch I always put two stitches.
I start with some loop of colors, strategically chosen to give good output and singly crochet in spirals.

I can't believe the stunt orange pulled here didn't break time!
It broke space a little though.. If an appearing ball overlaps another they ignore each other until they separate.
But I could sell that as a feature of the time machine, not a bug . 🤔
