It took me 4 attempts for it to click but I'm glad I kept trying as I'm playing Cyberpunk right now and I'm really digging it.
How are steam keys generated?
1. Randomly generate a key and if it's taken, generate another one and loop.
2. There is a database of (millions) available keys, when it runs out make more with step 1....
@nprofile1q... Almost certainly a cryptographic hash (probably SHA-3) using a private key that they keep locked up tight. They've changed the key lengths in the past, that was probably caused by switching algorithms
There's no evidence to support the assertion that Immersive Sims don't make their money back. What evidence there is supports the conclusion that they absolutely do but like many other genres have a total addressable market of about 5 million which if budgeted appropriately can be wildly profitable.

Just started playing Calisto Protocol, has to have the record for turning me against the game. Second shot about 5 seconds in they show a dead kid. Fuck everyone involved in that decision
