What’s the use case for Bitcoin? Simple: I’ve earned money, and I want to keep it. https://m.primal.net/Mztn.mov

I remember a story from the book 'The pacific' by Eugene Sledge. He was fighting the japanese in okinawa and peleliu during WW2. He tels us that a lot of japanese soldiers were carrying their welth with them in the form of gold fillings in their teeth. Ofcourse after every battle their where marines checking the dead japanese body's for golden teeth fillings. Even the wounded or captured sometimes didn't escape this faith. Their teeth got knocked out or removed with a ka-bar (knife). Ofcourse in that time their were not many options and this could seem like a good idea. It probably worked out fine for those who were not captured. Now imagine those guys could just remember 12 words in their head to carry their welth with them! And even better, your family back home can also remember these words. And when you don't come back, they still have access to everything.. sounds like a good use case to me.

Dont forget to take morris law into account. 10 years from now, you will not have the same storage capacity that you have now.
Also, synchronizing it not a problem I think. Who cares if it takes 4days or 4weeks..
+ If the increasing weight of the blockchain surpasses the increasing storage capacity of a regular ssd, you can always run a pruned node.
