@nprofile1q... been working on some at home networking dns blocking with a $35 raspberry pi zero 2 w. basically sending all the traffic coming back that asks for ads into a dns blackhole. there isn't any device that isn't asking for ads 24/7 which is nuts to see in real time.

Great point Chad. Alby has been great as a solution to still using the P2.0 apps. The excuse I hear is people dont want to pay alby that don't run nodes. Ok, but these same people will pay for podcast subscriptions on Fountain for more costs. These same people who figured out how to use Tik-Tok, Facebook, X, Nostr. That excuse for the listener doesn't work anymore. Who's stepping up to the plate to mimick what alby has done...nobody.

Part 2, having both keysend and lnurl together should remain in place until lnurl can do exactly what keysend does. Throwing keysend to the wind just because everyone wants to take the easy way out still does not resolve the data/funding issue from our nodes to the receiving end. We need both in the data or just keysend in place until this lnurl solution actually works because it clearly does not as shown by Boost Beach.
