If you put a tarp over it just a couple of months and it will be bone dry.
It will be fine either way. It will dry faster if you keep rain off it.

Yeah I'm new and have not figured it out yet. I am not sure if I am missing something.
Rabbits love comfrey! I have been growing comfrey for 3 years now and it is one of my favorite fodder plants. I give it to my rabbits about every 3 days. It does great growing around the base of fodder trees.

Spiderwort is a cool wild flower. Flowers are edible and make salads look amazing. Medical uses too and the flowers can make a dye.
Also a day flower so pick all you want new ones open every morning...
Also the one of the best flowers for bumblebees. The pollen is high in protein.
I use it for rabbit fodder as well.
