Derivatives are just more granular fractional reserve hedging—I agree that’s the main control lever of the fiat cost of BTC. What you gonna do?

The quants are gonna play the market until USD loses it global reserve status. Then BTC becomes the control lever and 85% of us are gone and eugenics projects become tenable.
