I used to think this way but I'm not so sure anymore. Take Hungary recent election, the turnout was insane. Now it might not mean much but take El Salvador for example when Bukulele came in, he won by a large margin because the people were tired of the status quo.

💯. All Apps I use aside from telegram have notification turned off by default. Telegram is the exception because I use it for custom bots I create. Friends/family on WhatsApp wondering why I don't respond often not knowing I've turned off notifications. The trick though on WhatsApp is even with notifications turned off, if someone calls, it rings but you do not see the notification. Would have to open the app to answer the call.

I agree as well. I won't say I'm a regular poster but I use nostr daily.
