Am on something of a “off day” having had the last three days at the bike shop. So of course Microsoft Build kicks off and a new laptop is apparently the hardware star of things. Runs that new small NVIDA chip… I’m kinda shrugging.
Talked to a friend from HK who was in town last night and told him how I’m less convinced of “agentic this and that” and more wondering how folks might and might not be allowed to have LLMs on their edge devices. Perhaps I’m just not pointing towards trends once again.
Or perhaps, like many of us who get “stuck” with the music of our teens. Perhaps I’m stuck with the tech of a similar pubescent period… running a small model on my glasses, a pendant/watch for comms, and a tablet-canvas for productivity & contemplation.
