Somewhere in the Colorado mountains, driving south under a gloomy sky, I came around a bend and this peak in the distance took my breath away.

No cars in sight for miles.

So I pulled over, walked into the center of the road, and captured the moment.

This is where I deeply feel the glory of the Creator, and remember my own divinity.

Since I started studying Human Design, one of the most practical things I learned is that every person has an environment where their body actually thrives. Not just where they "like" living, but where their nervous system regulates and their mind gets quiet.

Mine is Mountains.

I spent 2 months in Mexico and Bali. San Cristóbal de las Casas at 7,000 feet, volcanic peaks in Bali. I didn't have to try to feel good. My body just... settled. Sleep came easier. Decisions felt clearer. I was more myself than I've been in years.

Now I'm back in Florida. Flat. Grey. Sea level. And I can feel the difference in my bones. My nervous system is louder. My mind races more. It's not depression. It's displacement. I'm a mountain body living in a flatland.

Human Design isn't astrology and it's not a belief system. It's a map of your mechanics. And the environment piece alone has been worth more than years of guessing where I should live.

If you haven't looked into yours, start there. Not the type, not the strategy. Your environment. Your body already knows.

Immediately shared some with my sister and we both had this look of tasting divinity in a jar and realized it was the first time we tried pecan butter! All I see is almond and peanut butter on store shelves so this felt like discovering a rare jewel.

Currently enjoying it with homemade sourdough bread, homemade pineapple jam, and dollop of blueberry chia date jam.
