Blame Monsanto for genetically engineering the goygrains and selling farmers Roundup to spray all over it. The one-to-one flour I'm using has xanthum gum in it to add a bit of chew you lose from not having gluten, but that's not the problem going on here, it's gotta be the mix and the yeast being dead.

I shrimply did as the clanker directed, pic related. That 1.3 cups of water turned into 2.3 before it stopped looking shaggy and started looking "wet but not soup-like" and it only just stopped being a shaggy dough at that point. I didn't bother kneading it because there's no gluten to develop, and my breadmaker's paddle motor for slow churning it during the knead cycle is broken, so I threw it together in a bowl and dumped it in a well buttered breadmaker dish and let it run.
I think my yeast is dead because it's old, but I know how much those glass tinctures of yeast cost and didn't want to waste it. Probably a combination of dead, unbloomed yeast plus maybe too much water somehow.

@cool_boy_mew @john_darksoul It's "not amazing" but yet I can always find myself raving about it to people. It's a really unique collectathon where they blended in *just* enough puzzle-platforming to be novel compared to others in the genre. Big fan.
