I've thankfully avoided the creative only while drunk, but the only reason I table at cons is because I got drunk years ago, and applied for a table at one of the biggest festivals in the UK. Then I'd completely forgotten that I'd applied for it until I got an email saying I'd be accepted.

Not a strategy I'd recommend to everyone, like.

Okay so someone goes to a witch asking for a love potion and/or a spell, but the witch basically tells them to collect the person's favourite things for the potion and tells the person to think about the things they like about this person while "casting the spell".

Then when it's all done, the witch hands the stuff to the person and is like, "Great, now go do all that with the actual person okay byeeeeee"

Proving that I do have a scanner and it is the convinience of my phone camera that stops me from scanning things in - Another sketch from earlier today, trying to get used to using the School G Fountain Pen and Tachikawa G Nib.

If I get chance to, I might actually paint this since I inked it on a watercolour postcard.

If you see someone being picked on, and you are in* a position to be noticed, you call it out.

Even if you don't change the behaviour of others, that person knows that *you* have their back. Which is much better than feeling like you are completely alone.

As for recruitment, where I am we do name-blind recruitment where we don't know names or ages until they accept an interview and then we make sure that interview panels are diverse, that our first questions are consistent, that everyone is aware of the criteria and that we have review meetings to make sure everyone can share opinions on interviewees. Its not perfect but no process ever will.

OK I FIXED THE THING SO NOW WE'VE GOT SOME LONG TERM STABILITY - once I've calmed down a little and checked that the demo is working I can finally record it and have time to sort it out for the 2nd attempt at presenting tomorrow.
