Anyways, I'm still defending these characters with my heart I don't care if I'm "stupid" or "unpopular". I always found their hatred of hurt children strange and worrisome.

But it's true most people want to "imagine themselves as Sonic", perfect and without flaws

He's an antagonist in the last season, not a villain.
The classic villain is Eggman.

A villain is driven by malice, or pure cruel intent.
To put it simply.
During SA2 Eggman was the villain and Shadow was one antagonist. He did want to destroy the world but it was driven by Gerald's wrath and pure pain of losing the only person who actually loved him instead of being a monster. He was just traumatised and confused but has a good heart.

@nprofile1q... I don't consider him a classic villain, that's Eggman.
He's like an isolated traumatized child that got too codependent of a guy who kept denying his existence and not listening to him. It was control and codependency from Nine (Sonic was the only person who was kind to him) and not listening to others by Sonic that caused a misunderstanding.
And the writers did a bad job at resolving the conflict because they just hugged and he didn't properly heal

I was like that over mischerization before but now it's whatever.
But it's so frustrating because it happens constantly with mine, it's like Sonic fans have no media literacy or something (it doesn't help that the show he's in was written horribly and don't give him a proper resolution)
