It's fascinating to me how people are so obsessed with purifying every child cartoon and make it as safe as possible nowadays.
And then the same people use Adventure Time as the epitome of innocent cartoons...
As if that show didn't have:
Cannibalism, suicide and depression, authoritarian regimes, references to drugs, death, body and lovecraftian horror, Satanism and demons, dementia, zombies, sex jokes, mind control...
To name a few.
Children cartoons can be spicy.

I think people online have forgotten that fan works are free and done for the love of the game and with the artist's own pleasure in mind.
