I followed your how to video on building m ty first Bitcoin node. Shortly afterwards I moved away from YouTube all together. Since then it's been all about privacy and security. And life in the sludge world with the sludge people doing sludge stuff.. Appreciate all you do..

It's post-election America, and it seems a new mandate has emerged. They say there's nothing new under the sun, and we’ve certainly seen this cultural swing before, from the so-called 'progressive' movement to the 'conservative' movement.

My view?

America is a Constitutional Republic. Progressive thinkers often use the word Democracy because it resonates with emotions of sensitivity and empathy. But classic democracy means rule by the mob, while a Constitutional Republic is grounded in rule of law. Just look at the last eight years to see the difference. Which do you prefer?"

Balancing our emotions with sound logic and reasoning is challenging enough in everyday life. When it comes to our Constitution, it seems few have read it deeply. Progressives view it as a relic of another time. Yet I believe it was written with clear foresight about human nature and government. Centralized power, in any form, leads to abuse. Not exactly a revelation and you don’t need a PhD or high IQ to see that, just a rational mind. And yet, humans famously abandon sanity when pushed.

That’s enough for today. Feel free to share your thoughts; I’m always open to a meaningful exchange of ideas. Welcome to a new American administration and the ongoing social experiment of government by and for the people.

I tried my hand at filmmaking & screen writing. Had a 5 year business plan to succeed. Year 1: learn story telling. Year 2: write 3 screenplays one in each genre (comedy, western, sci-fi). Year 3: put scripts in screen writing compition. Make 3 short films based on feature scripts. Year 4: Put short films in film festival circuits. Year 5 promote scripts with award winning short films. That was a journey I think I could write a book about. At the end, 2008 hit. The economic decline reduced my ambitions to living in a motorhome any place I could park it. Now I'm on the CryptoTruth journey... Life is short! Don't waste it!
