@nprofile1q... I’ve seen a fair amount of people here using pomf.tv for streaming around here. It explicitly allows cub/loli/shota art.

@nprofile1q... most likely, unfortunately… The artists I’ve seen keep their accounts longer have an alternate name/icon/description on Ko-fi, use a URL shortening service for any and all links to the account (prevents tracking referrer headers), and only link to it privately through DMs or posts/submissions/journals/etc that can’t be seen while logged out.

@nprofile1q... Ko-fi moderates off-site behavior and will take your page down for being linked from other places where you’ve posted content that would break their rules. I believe they also keep track of referrer headers that link to user pages as well to keep track of that, too. Really shitty and creepy behavior on their part.

@nprofile1q... Anything where genitals are exposed has to be censored on Pixiv, due to Japanese censorship laws. Things do slip under the radar like with any large site, but they’re very strict about it when it’s found/reported.

There was an issue about a year ago where the site had to be restored from a backup, but some of the media backups were corrupted, resulting in a lot of images a few months to a year prior to that being lost. You should be able to edit the posts in question to re-upload the images. Some people have also had luck with just editing and saving the posts fixing it as well.

@nprofile1q... The site has had private messages since it launched in 2018. Mastodon’s solution for PMs is through normal posts with scoped visibility. You can either go to the menu on their profile and choose “Privately Mention”, or just create a new post with visibility set to private and only tag the person/people you want to message. You can view private messages through the main menu > Private Mentions. :blobcat:

Aside from that, there’s a ton of human art on the site (without non-human characters in it) from various artists, most of them drawn by artists that draw lots of furry and non-human characters, but still. The site’s rule enforcement makes little sense and seems to have a lot of bias from their staff. Plus they make a bunch of money out of exploiting artists’ work without their permission.
