This is apparently the artist who made the mask in 2017.

It's a project called "Surveillance Exclusion" by Dutch designer Jip van Leeuwenstein.

​He designed this mask as part of his graduation project at the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) around 2017. While the project is a few years old, it frequently goes viral on social media (as seen in the late 2025 posts you likely encountered) because the debate around AI surveillance remains highly relevant.
