Ich kann aus dem Stegreif eine Hand voll alternativer öffentlicher Paketquellen für Flatpaks aufzählen. Bei Snap ist das weiterhin nicht möglich.
Insofern ist die Offenheit bei Flatpak nicht "theoretisch", sondern praktisch verfügbar und im Einsatz.
