@nprofile1q... I volunteer at my town's historic society but have lived here "only" 20 years so a lot of times when people want to know the history of their house I can find more stuff on newspapers.com than in our poorly cataloged archives.

@nprofile1q... OK! That "Durst special" and "Might have been PA" narrows it down a lot. That is... likely the late 1930s. I don't know how long these cars hung around for but here's a likely mention of it.

I've been pretty lucky here but I also think I probably select the content for here which I think will not lead me to Nitpicky Engagement of which I am not a fan. The bad replies I tend to get are either "failure mode of clever" or people who think they're making a pithy point but who are actually either insulting me or agreeing with me and I CAN'T TELL WHICH.
