I agree it is not always clear, but worst case you can always do i manually, its simply ''nostr:[whatever its is you are referencing, so could be nprofile, npub, nevent etc.]''

I am atleast slightly annoyed you reference a nostr event with a url instead of a 'nostr:reference' :). Try the other button 'copy note ID' instead of 'copy note link' next time when. The first is for use inside of Nostr, the other is used outside of Nostr ;)

If you go along with my suggestion of rephrasing it in terms of architecture (first order) instead of "incentive structure"(being its subsequent second order), we are in agreement, yes.

Basically you’re saying banning social media on the internet is pointless because it’s impossible and only lead to further censorship of the internet itself. Seems logical, but still left with the problem of “social media”. Maybe it is a problem that requires humanity to touch the stove. But that could be a high price to pay and a very long road to travel before understanding. Maybe the market self corrects then and incentives become virtuous. Maybe we just get stuck in a cycle. Maybe we are stuck in a cycle, just the amplitude is higher due to the tools available. Wild.

A lot of the problems is due to the fact we allowed the network effect to be captured by centralized platforms, which subsequently keeps us hostage.
