You'd think that using the toilet with the door open would mean I don't get the cat paws under the door since the cats can just come in. You'd be wrong.

The kittens have discovered that they can reach through the gap between back of my chair and the seat and poke me in the lower back with their claws. I'm pretty sure they think it's funny.

I got the kittens a rechargable ball that rolls around on its own and everyone's very confused by it. They're playing with it, but they're looking at it like it's doing something insane and inexplicable. It was advertised as exercising their predatory instincts, but prey usually runs *away* from the predator, not just in completely random directions, including very fast directly toward the predator. Maybe "play" is a bit of a strong word. They're following it around and occasionally batting it.

Why is it that alcohol bottles have "drink responsibly" printed on them, but if I tell a bunch of kids to "do drugs responsibly" suddenly I'm the bad guy?

I spent a couple nights camping with my mum and stepdad who have iPhones. I brought four powerbanks and a mattress pump that provided charging. Their phones absolutely refused to charge with all but the most recently-bought powerbank. 🤦

Then we get home and I try to set my stepdad up with an account on my audiobookshelf server. Apparently Apple has a hard limit on the number of users that can download beta apps. 🤦

Holy crap. How the hell can anyone at all be comfortable using those devices?
