@nprofile1q... Rather than coding anything, you just need to create a zip file that _contains_ the program you want and then just unzip it. How do you create that zip file, though? Start by creating a binary file containing a single number, then vibe code a compression conversion algorithm that will treat it as a compressed file and convert it into a zip file that contains your desired program. Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

If I could change one thing about #StarTrek, just one thing, it would be to have Keiko get transported to the Delta Quadrant by some kind of quantum botany accident and become a regular on Voyager. Ideally replacing Chakotay somehow.

Does anyone in the #3DPrinting community know of a slicer that handles .step files properly? (as in arcs are treated *as* arcs and exported as G2 and G3, rather than needing to go through the kludgey process of the slicer converting it to flat polygons on import and _then_ having it try to fit an arc)

Gcode provides the capability to use arcs and step files are all about round things, why are we converting it to flat things and then back to round?

First time visiting a community wiki and they have a stupid LLM chatbot in a little subwindow at the bottom of the window hovering over the actual content. I look for a dismiss button, no dismiss button. I look for settings to turn it off, no settings. I type "disable [chatbot name]" it says "I can't be disabled." Right-click, ublock "block element."

Fuck you LLM, looks like you actually can be disabled after all.
