Almost every line I draw just brings me frustration. I try to enjoy drawing but nowadays it’s so hard for me. When I take a break I feel so guilty because I feel like I NEED to draw but what else can I do? @nprofile1q... I think I just overthink stuff too much tbh. It’s probably because I have been drawing for like over a decade and I’m still not as good as I hoped I would be by now. If I wasn’t such a perfectionist I’m sure I wouldn’t have this problem 😔

You know something that pisses me off? It seems that no matter how hard I try, most of my art looks so… lifeless? Especially my expressions. They just lack any kind of real emotion or energy and I have no idea how to fix it. I’ve tried learning more of gesture drawing but even then, I don’t really know how to apply that to the usual stuff I make. Everything just feels so stiff, especially when I compare to other artists. I just have no idea what to do about it.
