I will chime in a bit about the KDE and Framework anger:

Sure. It's fair to be bummed about that. I am not happy about their lack of apology either.

But at least this way people who buy Framework laptop, especially the people who know nothing about any drama, will get a desktop environment that is fun, whimsy and diverse. And I hope it reflects on the userbase and makes them think of this stuff at least some degree.

KDE folk are one diverse bunch. And fascists hate that. We occasionally get these cunts in our mailing lists and they're told off quick.

Yes, I am staying optimistic. If that bothers you, unfollow me, block me, move on.
