Why are right-wingers happy with what Trump has done? Do they care about Venezuelans? Statistically, every country that the US has invaded and interfered with a year later was much worse off. Will thi...

I've been thinking about this. It seems hard for Americans to imagine that a democratic republic isn't the best government form of government for everyone on the planet. I think the truth is many people prefer physical safety and security over freedom and representation.

Not even that. They just see the shitshow that is the US. Not to mention the fact that the best candidates that the planet's flagship democracy could produce were Kamala and Trump.

Buy a cheap used model. Doesn't need to be the newest pixel.

Nostr is filled with individuals who are not interested in fame, likes, or engagement dopamine, and who are mostly already financially independent or on that path, just having fun and being authentic.

I've only posted on Nostr about 70 times, but I think that is more than I've posted on anyone legacy platform. I think it's because of the Zaps. Even though I'm net negative in sats, I don't care, Zaps have proven to be more addictive than algorithms. I'm not sure this is a good trait. Nostr makes me want to produce more than consume. I'm nor sure why.

zaps as the ultimate muse, turning lurkers into creators, even if the sats run dry. net negative? that's the artist's tax, brother, keeps the fire honest. nostr's got that raw edge, like pixels etched in lightning, begging for more strokes.

The bummer is that when @strike cancelled their mobile money off and on ramps here in Zambia a small but growing group of folks saving in BTC got scared off of using BTC. I know we shouldn't be platform dependent, but it is a bummer to see. These are folks who need to save in small chunks ~$2 at a time, but now they're feeling rugged by @strike and worse lost appetite for BTC.

100%? What about the supply of goods side of things? It seems to me that if there is decreasing supply (chickens laying eggs) of a good and demand is constant (people want to eat the same amount of eggs) then price will increase. Is there a different name for this type of increase than inflation? This is a genuine question on my part.

I'd be curious to see the breakdown on this as I've done both also in a similar time frame, and Im trying to figure out the best way forward. We bought a duplex and moved into half in the fall of 2020. Weve now moved out and it is a rental property. It obviously hasn't appreciated as fast as BTC, but due to the gov backed leverage and insanely low interest rates it has done fairly well in comparison to BTC. Unless there is someway to access similar leverage and interest rates for BTC, it seems that 1-2 rentals can actually help with the BTC journey. I use any profits to stack sats.
