@nprofile1q... I've been hosting my own sites and email at home for years, sometimes even over 4G or 5G, albeit proxied through a cheap vps (for static ipv4 and basic filtering).
I got better uptime than AWS. :)
A home connection is sufficient for a great many things.
Get a couple good UPSes and you're golden.
