There are clear difference between

“being enabled to do things that you know but would otherwise not have time to attend to”

and

“being emboldened to do things that you don’t fully understand which would normally take more time”

All experts argument for the former are in no way an excuse for the latter.

And guess which ones are currently being pushed by corporate overlords?

“We do expect daily use of AI by every individual in the company and we are launching AI acceleration programs to support every role as part of our transformation.” - Gitlab CEO in its recent reorganization email that aim to close 30% of its locations, who hasn’t written a single blog post without AI in the subtitle for an entire year:

If this is not a bubble I don’t know what is, I hope it bursts soon for the love of our species.

“Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream” for Switch has the deepest procedural gameplay I have ever experienced in a simulation game.

In that it has to calibrate multiple steps down the line from a large set of player decisions and still produce interesting outcomes.

It is a designer’s wet dream: emergence mixed with player intent played inside a directed scenario.

It is probably a nightmare to design for but god is it refreshing compared to The Sims or Stardew inspired life sims.

Since 2026 all of our internal tools have perfect looking frontend design instead of programmer art, while at the same time they all come a bit buggier than usual, data they output are sometimes untrustworthy and require human validation.

Does anyone have a clue on why? 👀
