I know I'm being lazy as it gets, but can anyone summarize bip110, why it sucks and if I'm not suppose to run Core, what am I suppose to run?

I keep my full node running but Im also a father of 3 and while I try to reestructure my software engineer career I don't exactly have time for all the drama happening on the space.
