21 million coins, shifting hands over 16 years. Pay attention. https://blossom.primal.net/3a79c0b8c8210469359116e7799cb644c7a8aa0f988c4be63af639280401d4ea.mp4

Might be a dumb question but isn't very possible some of the coins are in private business, not ones publicly traded, therefore they don't need to do forms etc.

How is the individual holder percentage determined? Just coins not 'lost and satoshi' or publicly announced owned by a company?

Is it using bitcointreasury?

I think your surface level observation is accurate lol But we can still wonder why they would make this sort of editorial choice.

my first instinct is the nancy guthrie kidnapping/whatever it is, heard there was ransoms sent demanding 'crypto' i assume thats bitcoin or monero if criminal has any brain.
so could be relevant for that.
also id be interested to see what other article the author has written in regards to this general topic..

and how the 'public relations' is received depend on the audience. privacy advocates could interpret coverage of this topic as positive, if it highlights privacy aspects of the asset.
to the average person, i still think this would be viewed as negative pr. im assuming the article will contain references to dark market purchases, will almost certainly mention silk road, and various ransomware/ person ransoms and scams.
everyone hates scammers, like LEGIT scammers.

I guess i would say this is status quo, they are framing a particular open source monetary network as dangerous, and criminally adjacent.

but yes anyone got a paywall free link

I was able to read it... 👀 It is surprisingly neutral and lacking in suggestions of criminal intents.

Why aren't they talking about this tech?!?!
They want it surpressed cause blah blah blah.

Why are they talking about this tech!?!
It must be because they infiltrated devs.

I think that if a particular person or group, using your favorite open source tech forces you to question stuff including the devs being infiltrated, you are dumb. And don't understand open source at all.

so you think it's just a journalist doing their job? what incentive does Bloomberg have to do PR for Monero?

No. White sucks. But black also sucks. Have some sort of dark gray with a slight color tint. It should have some personality
