The immigration debate is a complicated issue that intertwines legal & illegal immigration, the concern of cultural change, strain on the welfare system, the absurdly overcomplicated and expensive legal immigration process, the desire of native-borns to protect their jobs from competition, and a dozen other issues. Until people are willing to separate each of these concerns and address them one-by-one, we're not going to reach any form of clarity or consensus.

I've known Kiwi for a long time, and he's helped me with my own open source bitcoin journey. Kiwi is not only deeply motivated to see bitcoin succeed, but he's smart about how he approaches that task. The tools & software Kiwi works on, he thinks carefully about, to make sure they're useful and effective. This is a rare attribute in an ecosystem where, unfortunately, many people get sidetracked by "vanity projects," things that may be intellectually interesting, but produce nothing substantive. Bitcoin Butlers is a great example of him directly addressing a specific need: how to onboard new users and get them from stacking sats to self-custody. The tools they offer support for all adhere to bitcoin's ethos and open source philosophy. I'm excited to see how Bitcoin Butlers evolves, and I think they'll be a key element of bitcoin's future success.
