I could bop my head to this tune all day long. Someone please make a 10+ minute long hardstyle version of this I can dance to

AP Executive Editor Julie Pace and Reuters Editor-in-Chief Alessandra Galloni on Tuesday issued this joint statement:

On the one-year anniversary of the Israeli strikes on Nasser Hospital in Gaza that killed our colleagues, we remember their lives and once again call on the Israeli government to provide a full explanation of what happened.

The strikes on Aug. 25, 2025, killed five journalists, including Reuters cameraman Hussam al-Masri; visual journalist Mariam Dagga, who worked for AP and other news organizations; and Moaz Abu Taha, a freelance journalist whose work had been published by Reuters. They were at the hospital in their professional capacity, doing critical work to keep the world informed.

A year later, we remain devastated by their deaths and are still searching for answers from the Israeli authorities about what happened that day. The strikes that killed them occurred at a hospital, a location protected under international law and one that was widely known to be crucial for news coverage out of Gaza. The information we have received to date has fallen short of the clear answers and accountability that an incident of this gravity requires. Reuters also continues to seek answers over the killing by Israeli tank fire on Oct. 13, 2023 of visuals journalist Issam Abdallah in southern Lebanon.

Journalists play an essential role in documenting events and informing the public, often at enormous personal risk. We honor our colleagues who were killed at Nasser Hospital—and all journalists killed during this conflict and other conflicts—and remain committed to seeking answers about their deaths.

We again call on the government of Israel to explain the deaths of these journalists and take every step necessary to protect journalists covering the conflict. We will continue to seek answers, demand accountability and call for access to Gaza to provide support to our colleagues who have been covering the war for almost three years now.

The IDF's criminal investigation into Hind Rajab's death is just a PR move that won't change the fact that no one here feels safe or protected. ✨ Pinned our journey of resilience & survival here in Gaza at the top of my page. https://i.postimg.cc/1zv9VTqN/altqaaat.png

One thing has to be said in their favour: they have been acting accordingly and consistently since inception. 🤮
