Trying to gain confidence for Argyle socks I was very much inspired by “just StitchFiddle it” @nprofile1q... and “a day without Nintendo is a day not lived” @nprofile1q... to practice intarsia in the round on these socks that will probably make the wearer invincible.

@nprofile1q... my best friend from when I was a baby had a black dad and a white mum (both Dutch, colonialism yay) so as a kid I was always slightly baffled that so many people paired up with a similar colour. That there was probably a cultural component behind it never occurred to me then.
