had the twins’ 2.5-year-old dental checkup at city hall today.
the dentist said, “after you let them brush their teeth with their own toothbrush, get another toothbrush that’s a different colour to brush their teeth yourself!”

they don’t even make the toothbrushes my boys use in four different colours and i’m not monitoring the condition of EIGHT different toothbrushes fucking hell

so honestly i straight up just said “thanks, i won’t be doing that.”

ngl i really enjoy that the twins use effusive language over basically nothing 😂 my husband shows Twin S something and he goes “that’s amazing, Daddy!” and then instantly runs off to go play with his brother. Twin Y tells me yesterday, “wow! tall buildings, so beautiful!” while he’s trying to turn himself upside down in the car seat. they both tell me “delicious! thank you for cooking, Mummy!” over reheated curry or microwaved chicken nuggets. if only this part would last 😅

you know the fish counters at the supermarket with the tongs where you can pick up a fish or two and put it in a plastic bag yourself? yesterday at the supermarket i saw a guy pick one up WITH HIS BARE HANDS and put it in his plastic bag, whereupon he changed his mind, took a different fish out of the bag WITH HIS BARE HANDS and put that fish BACK IN with the others. and then wiped his slimy fish hands on his trousers. 1000000% this guy also doesn’t wash his penis hands after pissing. i’m 🤮
