Another problem is that Bitcoiners have never truely cared about #PC20 and that's why we only have Fountain and Alby helping out because they get it and I got mad respect for both of them. https://fo...

Let me tell you what the Jew hater(s) at Alby did: I was a significant developer of parts of the Sat Streaming system. Through 3speak I put value blocks into thousands of rss feed podcasts.

Alby have BLOCKED me from sat streaming from my own sovereign Alby Hub because I'm a Jew living in my indigenous lands refusing to be murdered. You can't use YOUR Alby hub to stream sats without authentication via their Alby servers. Not very sovereign. They geo block me because they don't like Jews who fight back.

I'm rebuilding the back end to my Hive to Lightning infrastructure right now.

Boosts and sat streaming will not be part of the rewrite because Alby killed it. I can't test apps so keysend and all the information will die.

Stuff nobody seems to know about Lightning....

How do you clear a stuck In-Flight payment which failed 1002 days ago?

Seriously? I'm working on some new code for my node and both the LND nodes I have have stuck payments like this. Obviously this node has been rebooted and upgraded numerous times in the last 1002 days!

Are you having trouble withdrawing Lightning from
@binance
? I am but I know the reason and its not your fault.

For the last few weeks any attempt to withdraw Lightning from Binance to my LND based Lightning node would tell me "no route".

I could withdraw to another node: one which was ONLY connected to the rest of the Lightning network via my primary node but not to my primary (obviously withdrawing to this secondary node meant sats passing through my primary so route wasn't an issue).

After asking at LND Labs I found out that there is an issue with the current LND 0.18.3 version which inserts a whole lot of extra feature bits in the invoices.

This upsets Binance's withdraw system. The only answer is to use another system to receive sats that isn't running LND 0.18.3.

This has been fixed in the pending LND 0.18.4 release.

Anyone ever seen a Lightning payment on an Invoice with a 1 hour expiry that confirmed 3 months later?

Binance sent a payment, they marked it as failed, refunded it and 3+ months later it shows as settled and they want the refund back (given because they have the Payment Hash).

How would a normal user with a Wallet of Satoshi account know what to do about this?

I don't follow what you mean about the DCA side. Does the wrapper need to keep 2x HBD at all times or just at time of wrap? Falling back to just trusting means that a lot of people are going to get r...

If I wrap a 0.5 BTC at $40,000 and deposit $40,000 HBD, and a few weeks later the price is $42,000 and I have to deposit another 0.5 BTC, I believe the plan is that I would have to deposit enough to make the collateral up to 84,000 total.

But these numbers will be altered by the reliability of the wrapper. For example my Hive reputation (with all the revenue streams it gives me) ensures that my reputation on Hive is worth many times more than these figures.

Any ongoing premium to wrap will help give out red flags but it'll be too late 90% of the time. Malicious activity will be easily hidden under the guise that the wrapper doesn't have collateral to expand the mint at the moment. Once sufficient bull cycle begins to end it would be highly profitable t...

Wrapping and unwrapping will be an organic process. So in effect this will inject a form of dollar cost averaging into the amount held as collateral.

But highly trustworthy wrappers will also develop to the point where the absolute value of the collateral is less important.

It’s a pity that Lightning is so deeply controlled by ideological Bitcoin Maxis instead of open minded technologists who can think outside a box.

Stable coins on a rapidly centralizing Lightning is a very bad idea, there are better, more decentralized systems but they involve another blockchain.

Pity, Lightning is a mess.

Sad reality of #LightningNetwork today.

@binance implements it but (after initially allowing larger amounts like 3m) has now set a limit on 1.999m sats.

They also don't allow @MuunWallet or @Breez_Tech wallets and I know why: both of these solutions offer non-custodial storage but it is too slow and unreliable.

So you have to send to either your node or a wallet on a custodial centralized provider like @getAlby or @walletofsatoshi . Both fine products, but not what BTC is supposed to be.
